The senior midfielder and team co-captain has been a strong presence in the lineup once again this season, scoring 13 goals and dishing out four assists in six games to help lead the Wildcats to a 4-2 record as of last Friday.
In a recent spring break trip to North Carolina, Walker had two goals and one assist in Westminster’s 13-8 loss to Apex March 7 and then added two more goals in a 19-2 win over Providence Day March 9.
She also had four goals and an assist in the Wildcats’ season-opening 19-0 win over Allatoona Feb. 23.
Walker has also been a key player on the defensive side as well, according to Westminster coach Jay Watts.
“She plays great on both ends of the field,” Watts said. “She’s really strong defensively as well as offensively. She also contributes with her leadership. She’s been helping some of the younger players get more comfortable and get more acclimated.”
