The public can learn the ins and outs of gardening by attending a Vegetable Garden Seminar Saturday, April 6, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Lithia Springs United Methodist Church at 3711 Temple St. in Lithia Springs. Organizers have planned a day of mini classes on gardening, including site selection, soils, garden time management, raised bed gardening, pressure canning testing and preserving the harvest with canning and freezing.
