The ninth annual Alpharetta Arts Streetfest will take place April 13 and 14 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The event is located across from Alpharetta City Hall, 2 South Main Street.

Festival-lovers and arts enthusiasts can look forward to two days of strolling through outdoor galleries filled with paintings, mixed media, photography, pottery and jewelry, as well as textiles, glass, wood, metal and paper art.

The 98 artists to be featured in the Streetfest were selected by a jury comprised of local art professionals.

Artists juried into the show will be traveling to Alpharetta from Ohio, Missouri, Florida, Carolinas and other locations in Georgia.

The Art in Action Area, sponsored by the city of Alpharetta in partnership with Out of the Box Art Studio, will offer a free creative outlet for young artists of all ages.

Attendees can participate in the Streetfest by making artistic creations with a clay tile sculpture with colorful glazes.

Arts Streetfest will include live jazz, Americana, folk and groove rock. In addition, the main stage will feature cultural dancing.

Festival cuisine will include varied menus from Smokejack: A Southern Grill, Z Pizza, The Bubble Tea Truck, Viet Nomies Gourmet Food Truck, Jilly’s Cupcakery, Scoop-Itz Specialty Ice Creams, and additional street fare such as fresh squeezed lemonade, roasted almonds, Italian ice and kettle corn.

Parking is available at city hall, Milton Center and city of Alpharetta downtown parking lots. Downtown shops and restaurants will offer specials and extended business hours during the festival.
