SpringHill Suites Alpharetta will present a night of creativity for the local community.

Students from the Roswell-based Swift School, grades one through eight, will showcase their original artwork and will be on hand to discuss their vision and ideas with community members, guests, neighbors and friends.

The event, which will feature more than 100 drawings, paintings and mixed media works, takes place May 1 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at SpringHill Suites Alpharetta at 12730 Deerfield Parkway.

All the art work is original and was created by students under the direction of art teacher Lynn Kaplan.

Swift School is a private, independent school for students in grades one through eight who have been diagnosed with dyslexia and language-based learning differences.

Admission is free and open to the public, and the art is available for sale. Refreshments will be served.
