On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I am writing to congratulate Georgia Court of Appeals Judge Elizabeth L. Branch of Atlanta and Fulton County Superior Court Judge Tom Campbell of Roswell on their appointments by Gov. Nathan Deal to the Georgia Child Support Commission.

The entire state will benefit from these local judges’ service on the commission, which is responsible for conducting a comprehensive review of the child support guidelines, economic conditions and all matters relevant to maintaining effective and efficient child support guidelines and modifying child support orders that will serve the best interest of Georgia’s children and take into account the changing dynamics of family life.

Branch’s and Campbell’s acceptance of these appointment demonstrates their continued commitment to public service, which in turn serves to promote the cause of justice, uphold the rule of law and protect the rights of all citizens. We wish them well in these new positions of statewide leadership.

Robin Frazer Clark

President, State Bar of Georgia
