The Peachtree Battle Friends, one of more than 30 community Friends volunteer groups supporting Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, will host its annual Spring Home Tour Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at four homes in the Buckhead neighborhood.

Each home on the tour offers something different:

o 2625 Rivers Road is an English country manor house completed in 2006 and designed by Yong Pak.

o 2897 Habersham Way is a French-style home built in 1993 by real estate agent Cecile Stockhausen and architect Mark Palmer of Spitzmiller & Norris.

o 3110 Habersham Road is a classic Buckhead home built in the 1930s and renovated beginning in 2009 by Spitzmiller & Norris and Kathy Gregorcyk of KHG Inc.

o 3198 Habersham Road is a 1928 cottage on a nearly 2-acre lot that includes formal, vegetable and herb gardens.

The tour was not held last year because the Friends group could not find enough homeowners willing to open their houses for the event.

“We’re very excited [it’s back],” said Betsy Meacham, who is co-chairing the tour with Catherine Olivier. “It’s our group’s largest fundraiser for [Children’s]. We’re thrilled we’re able to pull it off this year.”

Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 the day of the tour.

Funds raised for Children’s by all of its Friends groups this year will be dedicated to the Sibley Heart Center, which specializes in caring for children with heart problems. It is located at its Egleston campus in DeKalb County.
