The next to be shown in the free series is “The Croods” on Aug. 3 at 9 p.m., followed by a movie yet to be announced on Aug. 31 at 8:30 p.m.
All movies are free rain or shine events open to all ages. In the event of rain, the venue has plenty of under-cover seating.
The gates will open two hours before the movie start time. Professional face painters will roam the venue until the movies starts. The 43-foot inflatable movie screen will be set up in the venue’s orchestra section and seating will be available in the terrace seats and on the lawn, so make sure to bring your blankets and low beach-style lawn chairs.
“We are excited to be a sponsor of this event as it gives the Alpharetta community the opportunity to enjoy one of the city’s top attractions,” said Janet Rodgers, President and CEO of the Alpharetta Convention and Visitors Bureau, a sponsor of the event. “We hope everyone comes to enjoy a free night out and that they continue to tell their out-of-town friends and families about awesome Alpharetta.”
Free parking is available and standard venue policies apply. The concession areas will be open. No outside food or beverages are allowed with the exception of one non-alcoholic beverage no more than 24 oz. in a plastic factory-sealed container per guest.
