The award is given to councils that have a strong commitment to their units, the community at large and provide proven benefits to all students. The North Fulton Council PTA was one of two councils that received a perfect score.
For the 2012-13 year the NFC PTA had the largest PTA membership council within Georgia, representing almost 15 percent of all the Georgia PTA membership.
“I am incredibly proud of our all of our local units and our steadfast NFC PTA team’s accomplishments and honored to have an opportunity to serve with each,” said Inge Robb, co-president of NFC PTA. “They are an incredible bunch.”
Along with receiving the Council Exemplary Award, North Fulton Council was given three out of four Georgia PTA Outstanding Principals Awards. Those winners were Holcomb Bridge Middle School’s Joy Schroerlucke, Johns Creek High School’s Buck Greene and Crabapple Crossing Elementary School’s George Freiberger.
Throughout the awards presentation, the NFC PTA was acknowledged for several more accomplishments.
