An Atlanta Street staple will be moving north on Highway 9 this fall.

Roswell’s Krispy Kreme location will be moving to 10781 Alpharetta Hwy. in mid-September with the opening of its new Doughnut Factory.

Though the new store, which is already under construction, is only a few miles away from the current location, Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corporation spokeswoman Lafeea Watson said the move “will increase visibility and customer traffic” to the business.

“It is our new, more cost- and space-efficient, small-factory shop model,” she said.

“It will still offer all the doughnut and beverage varieties and produce hot doughnuts on-site.”

In preparation, the store will be hiring for 70 full-time and part-time positions.

Online applications are now being accepted at www.sweetplacetowork.com.

Production specialist and shift supervisor positions are also available. led in-person interview.

The new free-standing facility is approximately 2,400 square feet and has a drive-thru.

The new Doughnut Factory will offer more than a dozen varieties of Krispy Kreme’s doughnuts, including the signature hot original glazed, as well as a complete menu of Krispy Kreme Chillers, iced beverages and signature coffee blends.

Expected hours of operation are Monday through Sunday, from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
