The Locust Grove Police Department along with assistance from Henry County Police have made three arrests in connection with an armed robbery and shooting of a store clerk at the M and H Xpress Food located at 2630 Hwy 42.

The incident occurred early Monday morning around 7:45 a.m.

The victim, not named, is still in critical condition at Grady Hospital.

Arthur Truman Cuff Jr, 21, of Hampton, Tyrone Keenan Holmes Jr., 22, of Hampton, and Christian Colby Walker, 21, of Savannah, have been charged with armed robbery and aggravated assault.

Numerous other charges are pending.

This joint investigation has developed information that suspects, Cuff, Holmes and Walker have been involved in robberies, burglaries and entering autos in Henry County and within the cities of Locust Grove and McDonough.

Earlier BOLOs were released in reference to car break-ins at the Eagles Brooke Country Club and also a burglary and home invasion that occurred at 1949 Upper Woolsey Road, where a mother and daughter were sleeping.

The detainees are suspected of being involved in robberies in Rockdale and Spalding counties and also another robbery and shooting being investigated in Clayton County.

They are suspects involved in two other armed robberies in the city of McDonough.

This case is still under investigation.

Investigators from Clayton, Henry and Spalding counties and the cities of Locust Grove and McDonough are building cases on all three suspects.

Anyone with information as to incidents involving these suspects are encouraged to contact those agencies.
