On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I wish to congratulate Sandy Springs Municipal Court Judge James M. Anderson III on his recent election as president of the Georgia Council of Municipal Court Judges.

The council provides support and training for municipal judges across the state. Anderson will be well served in his new position by his 33 years of experience in the legal profession, including eight years of service on the bench. He also serves as a Fulton County magistrate.

Anderson’s acceptance of this new responsibility demonstrates his continued commitment to serving the public and the court system, which in turn helps fulfill the constitutional promise of justice for all.

Charles L. Ruffin

President, State Bar of Georgia
