The Burke Boger Foundation, a nonprofit created in memory of Burke Boger to support cancer re-search, will host its inaugural fundraiser event, BogerFEST, Friday at 7 p.m. at 5 Paces Inn in Buckhead, the foundation announced Tuesday in a news release.

The event will include live entertainment, food from popular Atlanta restaurants and drink specials.

“BogerFEST is a celebration of the life of Burke Boger, my friend and someone I consider one of the most giving people I have ever met,” said Mick Ryan, BogerFEST organizer. “Burke’s friends created the Burke Burger Foundation to not only celebrate who Burke was, but also to give back to a cause he cared so much about. We invite everyone to join us in a fun evening to help us raise funds to support cancer research in Atlanta.”

Tickets will be available at Five Paces Inn on event day. Two donation options are available including a $10 for entry or $25 for entry, a T-shirt and wristband. A raffle with various prizes and merchandise will also be available for purchase at the event. All proceeds from ticket sales will go to the foundation.
