The Titans are off to one their best starts in school history with a current record of 24-1, including winning their first 20 matches without a defeat to begin the 2013 campaign.

The catalyst for Blessed Trinity’s strong start has been senior outside hitter Molly McAlvany, who leads the team in kills with 221, aces (28) and second in digs (154).

“Molly is a complete player,” said Blessed Trinity head coach Paul Stevens. “She can beat you with terrific offense, consistent serving or her stellar defense.”

McAlvany has had a stellar career for the Titans, being a member of two state championship teams. Last season, she was named to the All-Area team.

Blessed Trinity next contests will be home matches against Marist and South Forsyth Thursday.
