Milton Eagles (2-0) at Centennial Knights (0-2): The Eagles travel to Roswell to face a Knights squad that has given up more than 41 points per contest so far in the 2013 season. Milton will be led by Tennessee-commit, running back Treyvon Paulk who’s averaging 164.5 YPG this season and has seven touchdowns. Milton defeated Johns Creek, 56-13, last week. Centennial will counter defensively with linebacker Alex Estes who had nine tackles, including two sacks, in the Knights’ game against Roswell earlier this year. The Centennial offensive leaders will be quarterback Matt Harries, coming off of a 356-yard passing effort last week against Etowah, and senior wide receiver Christian Robinson, who’s averaging 114 yards per contest in 2013. Milton won last year’s contest, 52-24.

Johns Creek Gladiators (0-2) at Roswell Hornets (1-1): The Hornets will host Johns Creek after dropping their home contest to Lambert last Friday, 24-9. Roswell did earn a 39-30 victory in its season opener over Centennial with senior quarterback Matt Cory throwing fro 273 yards and four touchdowns in the win. The Gladiators dropped their last game to Milton with senior Chase Solomon having a team-high 69 yards rushing in the contest. Johns Creek earned a 45-24 win over Roswell in the teams’ last contest in 2012.

Lovejoy Wildcats (1-1) at Alpharetta Raiders (1-1): The Raiders welcome a Wildcats’ squad that made it to the Class AAAAAA state championship game last season before eventually falling to Norcross. Lovejoy, which is ranked fourth in the state polls, comes into this contest off a 17-13 loss to Colquitt County last Friday. Alpharetta had a more successful evening, gaining a resounding 36-7 victory over Harrison behind a 327-yard passing performance from junior Vito Priore, who also had three touchdown passes in the win. Two of those TD passes went to senior Daniel Clements with the receiver finishing the night with 11 catches and 179 yards. The Wildcats won last season’s contest, 43-24.

Douglas County Tigers (2-0) at Chattahoochee Cougars (1-1): The Cougars rebounded from their season-opening loss to Kell in the Corky Kell Classic at the Georgia Dome with a 48-6 win over Forest Park on Aug. 30. Chattahoochee has come off its bye week and welcomes a Douglas County squad that has won its first two games over Chapel Hill and South Cobb averaging 36 points per contest while allowing only 6.5 on defense. The Cougars shut out the Tigers, 24-0, in last year’s contest.

Cambridge Bears (0-1) at South Forsyth War Eagles (2-0): The Bears travel to Cumming after dropping their season opener to Riverwood, 30-7, on Aug. 30. Cambridge quarterback Bryan Moore had 107 yards rushing in the contest along with 86 yards passing. Sophomore running back JD White gained 81 yards against Riverwood. South Forsyth has earned wins over Northview and Forsyth Central this season and defeated Cambridge, 45-16, last season.

Northview Titans (0-1) at Lambert Longhorns (1-1): The Titans visit the Longhorns in Suwannee after dropping their season opener to South Forsyth, 21-17. In that contest, Northview’s Matt Biondich caught eight passes for 113 yards, including a 64-yard reception. Lambert won its last contest against Roswell and defeated Northview 55-27 in last year’s game.

Fellowship Christian Paladins (2-0) at Oglethrope County Patriots (0-2): The Paladins have started the 2013 campaign 2-0 with dominant victories over Lakeview Academy (41-14) and Towns County (49-14). The Fellowship Christian offense has been piloted by senior quarterback Hunter Bryant, who has four touchdown passes on the season and the five total touchdowns from running back Travis Kinney. The Paladins will travel to Lexington, Ga. facing a Patriots squad that has not won a game this season. Oglethorpe County, which is a Class AA school, defeated Fellowship 43-20 last season.

King’s Ridge Tigers (2-0) at Pace Academy Knights (2-0): The Tigers take their undefeated record on the road to Atlanta, meeting another squad without a blemish in 2013. The King’s Ridge offense has been powered by the trio of quarterback Henry Jones, wide receiver Penny Hart and running back Connor Henderson. Pace has earned wins over Whitefield Academy and Athens Academy so far this season. The Tigers won last season’s contest 48-20 after dropping the previous two games against the Knights.

Our Lady of Mercy Bobcats (0-1) at Mt. Pisgah Patriots (2-0): The Patriots welcome Our Lady of Mercy to Johns Creek for their home opener after gaining a 29-10 victory on the road over Class AA foe Model last Friday. Quarterback Aaron Winchester continued his stellar play, throwing for 238 yards and four touchdowns in the contest along with gaining another 85 on the ground. The Bobcats lost their only game of the 2013 season to Mt. Paran, 35-7. Our Lady of Mercy won last season’s contest over Mt. Pisgah, 42-14.

Whitefield Academy WolfPack (1-1) at St. Francis Knights (1-2): St. Francis will play its fourth game of this season on Friday against Whitefield Academy in a region contest. The Knights dropped their region opener to King’s Ridge last week and looks to bounce back against a WolfPack squad that is coming off of a 26-24 victory over Riverside Military. Whitefield earned a 46-7 victory over St. Francis last season.
