The Milton Eagles football program is off to its first undefeated start through two games for the first time in more than 10 years. The catalyst for the success has been senior running back Treyvon Paulk.

The future Tennessee Volunteer had 227 yards on 28 carries, along with three rushing touchdowns, in Milton’s 31-24 victory in overtime over Alpharetta. Paulk capped off the night with the game-winning eight-yard TD run in OT.

Paulk followed up his dazzling season debut with 102 yards rushing and 4 TDs in the Eagles’ resounding 56-13 win at Gladiator Field against Johns Creek last Friday.

“Treyvon works hard in the weight room to force his body to take the pounding of his opponents,” Milton head coach Howie DeCristofaro said. “Treyvon’s biggest attribute for the team has been the belief that when he touches the ball, he has a chance to go the distance and score.”

Milton returns to action on Friday at Centennial.
