Today Tripp goes to three different therapies; he cannot eat, walk or talk and can be likened to a newborn. He is relearning everything, including how to swallow and hold his head up. He has a feeding tube that goes into his stomach that he gets formula through.
To help offset the mounting medical bills and provide the family some financial support, all of the students at KinderCare Learning Center will participate in Skipp for Tripp Day.
A portion of the KinderCare playground will be transformed into a track where all healthy KinderCare children ages three months to five years will skip around. Each KinderCare family is asked to donate all they can to help the Halstead family. The children will also be creating a “Get Better Tripp” book.
The event will take place at the KinderCare school yard, 115 Bluegrass Valley Parkway in Alpharetta.
