The annual Halloween Hikes return to Chattahoochee Nature Center beginning Friday and Saturday from 7 to 10 p.m. and repeat at the same times on Oct, 25 and 26.

Children go on a well-lit hike through the forest to meet woodland creatures and hear about their lives. It’s the perfect non-scary alternative to traditional Halloween events.

The activities include crafts such as bat puppets and masks, face painting and musical entertainment.

Ticket sales start at 6:30 p.m. each night and end at 9 p.m. Hikes begin at 7 p.m. and run continuously.

Admission: $9, Children 2 and under are free. Trails are not suitable for strollers.

The nature center is at 9135 Willeo Road, Roswell.

Information: (770) 992-2055 ext. 236 or email r.gilbert@chattnaturecenter.com.
