The Roswell Historical Society will celebrate Rucker Fest Sunday, noon to 4 p.m. at Roswell’s historic town square at the corner of Ga. Hwy 120 and Ga. Hwy 9.

Rucker is a country dog that really lived about 1900 on a farm just outside of the City of Roswell.  He lived with the James Jasper Stewart family.

Rucker Fest will have pet vendors, dog demonstrations, refreshments and contests that include obedience, pet and owner look-alikes, best doggie kiss and more.

The event is free, and pets are welcome.
