The 4th Annual Williez Chili Cook-off is Saturday, 2 p.m. at Willow Springs Neighborhood Park, 10579 Roxburgh Lane in Roswell.

There will be at least variations of chili to sample to support local non-profit organizations. Celebrity judges include Senator John Albers, Randy Switts, Kathy Swahn, Janet Lieberman and Eric “Freight Train” Vail. Proceeds will benefit The Drake House and Keep Roswell Beautiful.

In addition to great chili, the event will feature live music by The Free Byrds and Common Valor, a playground for children to enjoy and photo opportunities with the Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders.

Water, soft drinks and event souvenirs will be available for purchase. Attendees are welcome to bring their own lawn chairs and favorite adult beverage. Tickets are $3 per sample or $20 for a value pack.

The Cook-off benefits The Drake House, which offers emergency housing and education to local families headed by single mothers with minor children, and Keep Roswell Beautiful, which works to educate, motivate and empower the citizens and businesses of Roswell in the beautification, conservation and preservation of the environment.

To date, this Cook-off has raised thousands of dollars for the two non-profits and served about 5,000 cups of chili.
