This morning, as I have done for the past six years, I voted at a school on High Point Road in Sandy Springs. Today it was High Point Elementary but in past years it has also been Greenfield Hebrew Academy, which is less than a mile away from High Point.

Other than having to park on the curb because no spots in the parking lot were available, I had no problems voting at High Point Tuesday. I went to the polling place with my wife Maggie, and she was the only person in line ahead of me. No one was even voting at the time we were there.

The staff of five poll workers/volunteers was very nice and helpful. Maggie and I arrived at 9:05 a.m. and were out in five minutes, including the time it took me to interview Poll Manager Nate Bednar for an article on voter turnout.

How was your voting experience today? Did you have any problems? The Neighbor wants to hear from you on the issue, so we encourage you to post a comment about your experience. Thanks.
