McDonough city council unofficial results as of 9 p.m.:

For city council at-large, challenger Roger Pruitt with 550 votes is beating incumbent Rufus F. Amis, holder of 495 votes. Vincent Smith got 251 votes and Swaine Thompson Sr. trails with 184.

In District 1, Rufus Stewart is unopposed.

In District 2, incumbent Sandra Vincent is keeping her seat so far with 191 votes over Darryl Payton's 119.

For the special election in District 3, Craig Elrod is ahead with 354 votes over Gina Riffey's 269 and Mario Hill's 112.
