Roswell resident Debbie Loshbough was recently named as one of 15 finalists in the Post-It Dreams for Good contest.

The company asked, “If you had the money, what you would do to make the world a better place?” Answers were to be submitted on a Post-It note.

Loshbough submitted a dream for veterans, which said, “Peace for vets: I want to provide alternative healing for veterans with PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder).

I do this in honor of my father and all who serve.”

As a finalist, Loshbough was asked to submit a two-minute video explaining the idea and voters will choose the top three winners. Voting ends Nov. 15.

If she is in the top three, Loshbough will be given a $25,000 grant to start her nonprofit.

To vote, visit www.post-it.com/dreamsforgood, where the videos can be viewed.

For more information on Loshbough’s goal, visit www.lifelineatl.com/peace-for-vets-2/.

Thank you all so much for your support. I continue to hear from vets who cannot leave their house - sometimes can't leave a room in their house. This is a niche that I can reach through my remote work. I want to provide a much needed service to an underserved population. Casting a vote for me is a way you can truly make a difference in the life of a veteran, and it doesn't cost you anything. Voting ends 11/15.
