On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I wish to express condolences to the family, colleagues and many friends of Miller & Martin PLLC partner G. Dean Booth Jr. of Atlanta on his recent death.

During his nearly five decades as an attorney, Booth earned a stellar reputation through his representation of nationally and internationally known companies in a wide variety of litigation, corporate issues and tax matters. He was also well known for mentoring younger colleagues and demonstrating professionalism in all fields of law practice.

All Georgia lawyers can draw inspiration from the exemplary career of Dean Booth and his many contributions to the justice system, as we attempt to meet the responsibilities of Bar members to serve others and help fulfill the constitutional promise of justice for all.

Charles L. Ruffin

President, State Bar of Georgia
