The Sandy Springs Recreation and Parks Department’s fifth annual Daddy Daughter Dance will be held Feb. 8 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Spalding Drive Charter Elementary School. 130 W. Spalding Drive in Sandy Springs.

“It is one of our most anticipated winter events,” said Sandy Springs Recreation and Parks Director Ronnie Young. “Both dads and daughters look forward to spending the time together. Everyone has a good time.”

The dance features music from both dads’ (and father figures’) and daughters’ generations provided by a DJ. The evening includes plenty of fun activities from dance contests to musical games and rest time with snacks and refreshments.

Fathers and their daughters will have the opportunity to take a keepsake photo. There will also be door prizes and goodie bags for participating girls. The attire for the night is business casual to semi-formal, and sparkly shoes are welcome. Tickets are $35 per couple and are first-come-first-serve until the event is full.
