Initial automobile claims have already topped 1,000 from last week’s snow storm in Atlanta, according to a release from State Farm Insurance Co. The number is expected to rise in the coming days.

State Farm has deployed additional resources in the state inspecting damage, assisting agents, and taking care of policyholders, the release said.

Three mobile claims sites have been opened to assist customers in the surrounding metro Atlanta areas of Kennesaw, Douglasville and Lithonia. Customers should call (866) 902-2818 to schedule an appointment.

State Farm policyholders are asked to call their agent or (800) 732-5246 to report damage and get the claim process started. They can also visit www.statefarm.com.

“The sooner a customer gets the claim started, the faster we can help get their claim processed and get them back on their feet” said State Farm spokesman Justin Tomczak. “We are helping our customers recover from last week’s storm and we are here for them.”

To visit one of these sites for photos and interviews, please contact Justin Tomczak by emailing justin.tomczak.m2ny@statefarm.com or calling (770) 418-5562.
