It will attract more than 2,000 Chicago-style steppers from Atlanta, Chicago, Washington, Detroit, Philadelphia, Los Angeles and Miami for the largest steppers’ conference in the nation.
The seventh annual weekend of activities will feature R&B recording artists Chante Moore and Glenn Jones in concert Saturday at 8p.m.
Friday is a meet and greet at the Atlanta Airport Marriott from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Saturday will be workshops on stepping and relationships, the third annual 5K charity road run and walk at 8:30 a.m. and a health fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The main event Saturday at 8 p.m. is the All Black Elegance Steppers Sharp gala. Tickets are $45 at the door and include the concert.
Sunday is the farewell brunch from 1:30 to 6:30 p.m.
“As a culmination of all of our good deeds throughout the year, we come together in February in commemoration of Black History Month,” south Fulton resident Cheryl Powe, organization president and CEO, said in a statement. “We welcome Atlanta residents and those coming from around the country to join us in this celebration.”
