Katie Grover finished her final high schools swimming season the season the same way she finished the previous two – with a state championship.

The Milton senior won the Class AAAAAA 100-yard butterfly for the second year in a row – the fourth state title of her career -- finishing with a time of 52.90 seconds.

Grover also finished third in the 100 backstroke – another event that she won a state title in last year – with a time of 55.33 seconds and helped lead the Milton 200 freestyle relay team to a third-place showing as well.

Grover’s fourth career state title capped off a successful senior season in which she also won the the 100 butterfly at the Fulton County Championships at Marist Jan. 11.

She also realized her dream of swimming on the college level when she signed a letter-of-intent with UCLA in November.

Grover is also a member of the Swim Atlanta swim club.
