Dani Moore has made an immediate impact for the Mount Pisgah Christian girls’ basketball team in her first high school season.

The freshman guard has led the Lady Patriots in scoring in several games this year.

Moore led Mount Pisgah with 15 points in its 32-28 victory over Whitefield Academy Feb. 4, 13 in a 38-25 win over North Cobb Christian Feb. 3 and 11 in a 42-24 loss to Mount Paran Christian Feb. 7.

She also had 18 points to lead Pisgah to an earlier 52-39 win over Whitefield Jan. 11 and 16 points to lead the Lady Patriots to a 40-20 victory over Walker Jan. 17.

For the season, Moore is averaging 7.4 points, 2.1 steals and two assists a game.

“Dani is a tremendous player for our team,” Mount Pisgah girls’ basketball coach Jennifer Osborne said. “She is able to handle the ball well and knows when to dish it out and when to shoot. I expect great things from her in the future. We are very lucky to have her.”
