Fulton County is currently offering five surplus properties for sale. Sealed bids will be opened April 15 at 11 a.m.

The board of commissioners has officially declared these properties as surplus to the needs of the county and its agencies. Properties currently for sale include:

o 37.985 acres of vacant land located on Valley Lake Road in Union City

o 17.46 acres of vacant land on Union Road in unincorporated Fulton County

o 1.18 acres of vacant land on State Bridge Road in Alpharetta

o 9.5 acre improved property at 2605 Fairburn Road (Tracts 3 and 4) in Atlanta

o 0.981 acres of vacant land on Old Fayetteville Road in Palmetto

Detailed descriptions of the properties are available on the Fulton website at http://www.fultoncountyga.gov/properties-for-sale. The website includes all bidding instructions and documents required to complete and submit a sealed bid.

All buyers must be represented by a licensed real estate broker or agent to bid. Properties are being sold “as is, where is, with all faults.” Payment by cash, cashier’s check or bank-issued check is due at closing once the sales are approved.
