The junior is helping keep the Titans primed for a run at a possible sixth straight state crown with her strong play at No. 1 doubles.
Foye, teaming up with sophomore Jessica Hyland, had a 7-1 record as of last Thursday and has helped lead Blessed Trinity to an 11-1 team record this year.
Last season, Foye posted a 17-1 record playing mostly doubles and some singles for the Titans.
“She’s done a really good job for us,” Blessed Trinity coach Alan Keel said.
“At the end of last year, she was showing leadership skills – so as a junior, that is something she does really, really well. She likes playing tennis and she is solid anchoring one of our doubles lines. She is a dependable point every time she is out there.”
Foye played on the Blessed Trinity junior varsity team as a freshman before moving up to the varsity level last year.
