Employers who expect to hire within the next 90 days will participate in a job fair sponsored by the Fulton County Office of Workforce Development April 23. The fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the atrium of the Fulton County Government Center, 141 Pryor St., downtown Atlanta. Job seekers are urged to dress for success and bring their resumes for the event initiated by District 6 Commissioner Joan P. Garner.

To help citizens prepare to enhance their chances of landing a position, the county will host job readiness prep workshops April 15 through 17 at the Neighborhood Union Health Center, 186 Sunset Ave., Atlanta. The three-hour workshops will begin at 9 a.m. each day. The deadline to register is Friday and registration is free.

Individuals who plan to attend the job fair are urged to take MARTA to Underground Atlanta for convenience and reduced costs that would be associated with parking and identifying available parking near the government center.
