The 22nd Dining Out for Life is April 23. The evening brings more than 100 Atlanta-area restaurants together in support of Open Hand’s community nutrition programs and meal deliveries.

During the event, participating restaurants will donate anywhere from 25 to 50 percent of proceeds to support the charity’s initiatives. In 2013, more than $165,000 was raised for Open Hand’s meal deliveries and community nutrition programs.

In north Fulton, Ceviche, Coldbrew’s Bar & Grill, Osteria Mattone, Salt Factory Pub and Table and Main are among the participating restaurants donating 25 percent of the day’s proceeds.

Open Hand is a nonprofit organization that provides medically appropriate meals and nutrition education to homebound seniors and individuals living with diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease, HIV/AIDS, cancer and disabilities associated with these and other chronic illnesses.
