Hardy Family Ford is bringing Ford Motor Company’s Drive 4 UR Community program to the Paulding County community in an effort to raise up to $6,000 for the Paulding Child Advocacy Center, according to a news release.

The Drive 4 UR Community is designed to help raise much needed funding for local community groups and nonprofit organizations.

For every person who takes the wheel and test-drives a new Ford vehicle at Hardy Family Ford on Saturday, April 26, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Hardy Family Ford and Ford Motor Co. will donate $20 to the Paulding Child Advocacy Center. The funds will allow the center to assist more children as they recover from traumatic experiences.

“We know funding for community programs is hard to come by, and we want to do our part to help make sure these programs remain available,” said Natalie Higgins, public relations director at Hardy Family Ford. “We’re excited to raise money for the Paulding Child Advocacy Center.”

The event will feature many vehicles from Ford’s impressive line-up.

“Whether you are looking to test out our fuel efficient vehicles, like the Fusion or Focus, or are more interested in an electric vehicle, like the C-MAX, we will be able to put you behind the wheel of your favorite Ford vehicle,” said Higgins.

Drive 4 UR Community is very similar in concept to Ford’s successful Drive 4 UR School initiative, which has raised more than $20 million for local schools since its inception in 2007.

Dealership staff on site will be able to assist with all Ford vehicles and provide additional information about each vehicle available for test-drive.

To participate in this event and get behind the wheel of your favorite Ford vehicle, please visit Hardy Family Ford at 1255 Charles Hardy Parkway in Dallas between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 26.

Participants must be 18 or older and have a valid driver’s license. There is a limit of one test-drive per household. All test drives will last approximately seven to 10 minutes.
