Hunter Sanna has been a steady presence in the midfield for Milton’s boys’ lacrosse team for the past four years.

The senior is providing more of the same in his final high school season, contributing 11 goals and two assists for the Eagles.

In addition to providing scoring, with four goals in Milton’s last two games, he also serves as the Eagles’ face-off specialist and has won 80 percent of his face-offs this season.

Milton coach Tom Dell praises Sanna for both his ability and attitude.

“He’s a great kid,” Dell said. “He is playing a very important position at the face-off position, winning the majority of face-offs. He’s been doing a wonderful job all season long and he’s got that special ability to – it’s just hard to get the ball from him. He draws a lot of defenders. He draws a lot of attention, which opens up some of our other players and he’s just a fun player to watch. He’s got a great attitude, he’s positive and he’s just a fun kid to have on your team.”

Sanna will continue his lacrosse career on the college level next spring after signing with Siena College.
