The Dunwoody Nature Center announces the return of its summer concert series. This year’s concert series is being sponsored by Scuf Gaming and features an all new line up of bands that will keep the meadow jamming. Bring a chair, blanket and picnic dinner and cool off with a rotating selection of hand crafted beers chosen for each show by the beer geeks at Moondog Growlers.

The nature center concerts promise to be the best way to stay cool during the hot summer months under the trees of the newly restored meadow. This year’s series also features a just completed performance stage in front of the old fireplace, built by the nature center’s corporate partners at Oldcastle. Guests to the concerts are encouraged to pack a picnic along with a blanket or a beach chair for the evening, but, with this lineup of bands there will probably be more dancing than sitting.

A fun evening for the whole family — think of a Chastain concert without the drive or traffic — visitors are also welcome to cool off in Wildcat Creek during the hot summer nights or come inside the education building to learn more about the natural world. As always, the nature center concerts are free to member families. Admission is $5 for non-member adults, $3 for non-member students and free to children 3 and under.

The scheduled concerts are:
-May 31, Jefferson Ross
-June 14, The Rays
-June 28, Buzzard Mountain Boys
-July 12, Cicada Rhythm
