Atlanta Public Schools accepting hardship transfers

Atlanta Public Schools announced Wednesday it will accept hardship transfer applications until June 20 for the 2014-15 academic year.

Hardship transfers to another school within the district can be requested on the basis of: death of a parent/legal guardian, military parent deployed, services unavailable at zoned school, court order, medical reasons, curriculum continuity or other.

Applications can be downloaded from the website below and submitted to the district’s Department of Student Relations at 130 Trinity Ave., Second Floor, Atlanta, Ga. 30303. For questions, call (404) 802-2233.
