District 6 Sandy Springs City Councilman Andy Bauman announced Saturday the city will close part of Powers Ferry Road, where construction crews from Site Engineering will install stormwater drainage infrastructure improvements. This work, starting as early as the week of July 7, weather permitting, will take place between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. It will close the road from just south of Eppington Drive to Whitmere Court for at least 75 days.
The city warns drivers to expect delays as they access their street and Powers Ferry while crews are working. Driveways will be accessible during the work.
