Douglas County, Chapel Hill

Soccer Camp

Douglas County High School will be the site of the Douglas County-Chapel Hill Camp Monday through July 11.

Registration is open to boys and girls ages 6 through 13. Each session will run from 9 a.m. to noon. Cost is $50 per camper.

Camp Blaze Volleyball Camp

Camp Blaze will host a volleyball camp for players of all levels Monday through July 11 at Colonial Hills Christian School in Lithia Springs.

Each session will run from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Cost is $65 per camper.

Alexander professional wrestling event

BMA Pro Wrestling presents “MADD Bash 2014” at Alexander High School on July 18.

Event is a fundraiser for Mothers Against Drunk Driving and will take place from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The list of wrestlers scheduled to appear includes the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express, Teddy Long, Jake “The Snake” Roberts, Mr. Curtis Hughes, Corporal Punishment and more.

Cost is $15 per person. Proceeds will go to Mothers Against Drunk Driving and Alexander High School.

DC Arsenal baseball

The Douglas County Arsenal 9U Kid Pitch Baseball team will host its tryouts on July 19 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Tryouts will be held at Bill Arp Park and there is no fee.

Players must have been born after April 30, 2005, to be eligible for the team.
