Patrise M. Perkins-Hooker of Atlanta recently was installed as the 52nd president of the 46,000-member State Bar of Georgia during the organization’s annual meeting at Omni Amelia Island Resort on Amelia Island, Fla., where other new officers were installed. Perkins-Hooker is the first African American and the third woman to serve as president of the bar. She is also vice president and general counsel for the Atlanta BeltLine Inc.
