The Bishop, Avondale Estates’ new neighborhood restaurant and bar, invites guests to dine and donate school supplies for Kids in Need this week. A program of the Atlanta Community Food Bank, Kids in Need provides learning supplies for students whose academic success is threatened by poverty.

Upon donating school supplies at the restaurant, guests’ kids will enjoy signature kids’ menu items for free, such as the favorite fried peanut butter and jelly. Those 12 and older will receive a complimentary appetizer for their donation.

The school supply drive is now through Sunday at the restaurant, 124 N. Avondale Road.

Guests of The Bishop are encouraged to donate the following items: pencils, crayons, filler paper, erasers, copy paper, glue sticks, rulers, composition notebooks, spiral notebooks and pocket folders.
