Gulledge set up the Tina Waddell Reward Fund at the Bank of North Georgia branch in Hiram. The fund will be open to anyone who feels compelled to donate to it and donors can remain anonymous if they choose.
The fund will remain in place until Aug. 5, 2016. If no one has been arrested by that time, providing that detectives have no new leads in the case, the money will either be refunded back to the donor, used to buy more cameras and equipment for the Silver Comet Trail, or it will be given to our Cops for Kids Christmas shopping program for underprivileged children. When someone donates money, they will be given an opportunity to decide what they want done with their money at the expiration of the fund.
“The creation of this fund will hopefully prompt someone to break their silence that may be holding that key piece of information that could help us break this case, " Gulledge said. "It is our hope that this reward will be the catalyst that helps us find our suspects.”
Those with information that could help detectives in this case can call the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division at (770) 443-3015.
